I painted this the day after the 2024 election to help me ride the heavy wave of emotions in my heart and steel me with the feeling I had at the top of Mt. Abe watching ravens ride the wind... calm, peaceful, resolute. Like many, I’ll be leaning hard on the transformative healing power of the natural world amidst uncertainty. Being outside reminds me what’s important, and reliving it through creating and appreciating art keeps it fresh in my soul. Maybe art does the same for you?
